On February 3rd, 2022, the famous Q&A platform launched Poe, which stands for "Platform for Open Exploration," for iOS users. A month later, on March 3rd, 2022, Poe was made available for desktop users.
Poe assists AI-powered bots such as ChatGPT from OpenAI (accessible at poe.com/chatgpt) and Claude from Anthropic (available at poe.com/claude), among others.
Adam D’Angelo, Quora’s CEO, says that Poe will add support for numerous additional bots within the next few months.
The Poe interface previously had Sage, Claude, and Dragonfly bots, and they have recently added ChatGPT to their list of integrated bots.
Users must create a verified account using a phone number and email address to access Poe.
Once verified, users can choose from three AI chatbots: Sage, Claude, Dragonfly, and ChatGPT.
Initially, Poe was designed as an independent platform from Quora, but now users can access it through the platform.
The AI bots available on Quora are still in beta version, and we can expect them to be available for everyone soon.
